In 2001 I went to Morocco with my Dad. I loved how each place I visited had its own colour palette, reflected by the hue of the taxis. In Marrakech they were yellow ochre, mirroring the sandy coloured medina and complementing the pink of Jemaa el-Fna's towering mosque beautifully.

In contrast the Fiat Unos in the coastal town of Essaouria were a queue of ultramarine, which looked so lovely against the white walls and the sea and sky. I loved Essaouria and the wind whipping these women as they walked looked almost biblical to me.
