Elizabeth Taylor was just 17 when she starred opposite Montgomery Clift in this 1951 classic of old Hollywood cinema, where glamour and tragedy sizzle in black and white. I absolutely love the scene from near the end of the film which sees the two lovers so sadly at the end of their road together and was the inspiration for this drawing.
