The Muse, collecting my midnight blue velvet Lanvin coat in The Wolseley, once upon a time. It was my favourite restaurant in the world, but I still haven't been able to bring myself to cross the threshold after one of the founders, Jeremy King, was forced out in a hostile takeover by some grasping money-men.
Such is my admiration for Corbin and King, in 2015 I painted a huge double portrait of the pair, 'They Have Lunch Every Tuesday', which won The Exceptional Talent Award at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
